Do you guys know that cooking is an art too? Why,if you may ask? Cooking like composing, you add what ever you have, what ever you like and make a dish, it will test good if you have talent to adjust, it will look good if you know how to decorate. Salt is not all the same salty, Sugar not all the same sweetness, and so other ingredients. The recipe is just a Guide, you are the one who make it taste and look good.
There is an art in getting a dish cooked on time together too, so your steak or whatever is properly to your liking, and the fries, eggs and veggies are ready at the same time. The understanding of quantities when measuring. Measuring is important when baking. The rule of the eye and judgement is also an art.
In conclusion, art is a broad subject to discuss. There is art in most thing that we do and this shows in how we cook.
